What about freedom ? I guess you are only free to believe the prescribed orthodoxy and politically correct agendas. I belive in UFO's and Aliens and Lizard people...I guess I will be unemployed soon too..
Canada enjoys only the illusion of freedom.
There is a charter of rights and freedoms, but it also has a not withstanding clause in it.
A compromise that allows a legal end run around anything else written in the document.
So freedom, but not really.
The Queen is still our queen, and we are still her subjects. Her representative must first approve all of our laws.
Declaring an American freedom, or claiming an American right, is 1776 all over again. It is rebellion against the crown.
For that you can be declared mentally unfit, and forcibly hospitalized and drugged in a locked institution for the rest of your days, as a permanent ward of the state. As such you can neither represent yourself, nor sign any legal documentation, ie, you can no longer own property, and your estate has to be managed by a qualified caretaker individual appointed by the government, who is compensated out of your estate if it still has enough money to pay him, or by a stipend from the government if the estate is fully drained.
On the bright side, you are no longer mentally competent to be found guilty of a crime, for you can no longer legally form criminal intent. You are like a child as far as the law is concerned.
PS, they do this to lots of people. Actual criminal criminals are much better off, for they can be returned to society one day.
