ah yes, 2006 in San Diego, saw this there, the cheapo apartments started giving notice that they would be renovated into CONDOS and sold as such. I remember laughing, what shit condos these apartments (and thats what they are) would be.
The renovations? They painted the outside.
Another similar in Arizona, ended up moving into a really large floorplan apt, but in bad neighborhood, was like living in a zoo. I moved, but right next to it they are propping up a bunch of condos and I cant help but laugh about the shock when they find out who their neighbors are.
