It would be wise for each sub to make a group chat in the matrix.org server on element, that way we can stay connected if SHTF on Poal. Even better if people can make their own servers to host the sub's chat.

Thanks. We already have a full forum dedicated to the FNGT on our own site at https://fngt.gq/. We have a header comment on each thread that tells people where to go. Appreciate the thought.

That is the correct answer.

If we want chat, we'd have chat. We have the infrastructure in place and I could have a chat section started up in short order.

Hell, there's probably a chat SMF extension.
