I will not fear.

Fear is the mind-killer.

Fear is the little death that brings total destruction.

I will face my fear.

I will permit it to over me pass over me and through me.

When it has gone I will look to see its path. Where the fear has gone, there will be nothing.

Only I will remain.

I will not fear.

I love that saying in Dune, almost as iconic as "the spice must flow"

I know it's not canon, but the mentat mantra from the Lynch movie works for me:

It is by will alone I set my mind in motion.

It is by the juice of Sapho that thoughts acquire speed, the lips acquire stains, stains become a warning.

It is by will alone I set my mind in motion.

Those who have not read the Dune series really should do so.

I promise you you will never look at a nun in the same way, ever again.

well...considering I rather love that series of books I'm ashamed at my ignorance that there was a mini-series...

your title is misleading though as this miniseries only covers the first 3 books (Dune, Dune Messiah, Children of Dune)...there were a total of 6 books written by Frank Herbert and the last 2 (Heretics of Dune, Chapterhouse: Dune) totally rock...the books written by his son are rather hollow in comparison and while they are based upon his father's notes just ain't cutting it
