wow - ok Oklahoma looks way nicer than I thought. I sort of imagined it to look just like north texas. Flat barren nothingness.

Nah that's just western oklahoma. Parts of Ok even have mesas. Eastern Ok has hills and rich forests with many freshwater springs. And no nuclear reactors to blow up if things really collapse.
