I'm seeing news articles saying Trump plans to issue Executive Order ending Birthright Citizenship
I think this is actually a plan to plug leaks. Any lawyer with half a brain can read the constitution and see that this is not something changed by an EO.
"All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside."
But this is exactly the type of story that would make the left froth at the mouth. If I was in his shoes this is exactly the type of story I would use to find leaks. I would talk it up internally and see how it gets out.
