This is my thinking. Kevin Spacey gets accused of being a pedophile and the kids mysteriously die. Micheal Jackson is accused of being a pedophile and the "victims" story keeps changing in court.
Two totally different outcomes.
They wouldn't vilify and attack him if he was actually one of them.

If mj was a pedo, then he would have never exposed Hollywood the way he did, and they would have had solid evidence of it.
Just like trump or Kavanaugh, they would have pulled out videos and proof from day one to destroy him. Instead the media used lies, jokes, movies and other ways to insinuate their story.
Very similar to Richard Gere. Supposedly he pissed off someone very very high up, and he ordered them to destroy his rep with the gerbil story.
