He banned those who downvoted him then unbanned. I was one of them banned. That was kind of the moment where I changed my whole mind about Voat, even though I loved her.
People weren't banned for downvoting him. Looking at who was downvoting a certain thread was a way to see which users were vote brigading the site at the time. He then banned those users.
