Labor theory of value is nonsense?
So you work for free?
That's a cute straw man, but no. I don't work for free. Labor has value, but it doesn't determine value.
Handmade dovetailed furniture is more valuable than ikea made shit.
Is it not labor that makes the item valuable?
No. It is desire for the product that determines it's value. Handmade dovetail furniture is BETTER MADE than IKEA shit. This is true. However, you could work a hundred hours on a finely crafted artisan quality piece of furniture; you could command a price that you feel is worthy of the labor you put into it and reasonable enough for the customer; and it doesn't mean shit if no one has the desire for the product.
