I always thought offending the Jews was the point of The Merchant of Venice.
i find it interesting that jews are getting more neurotic, they dont want people to not just not know who jews are, they want to specifically memory hole any past even, be it writing, audio, whatever that depicts jews in a bad light. Except iroinically, the fact that someone or something is too perfect would in fact raise even more flags. They truly are the world's shit stain
