If you have time to be narcissistic YOU ARE NOT A HERO.

Heroes? My foot.

You do realize, don't you, how petty and narcissistic it is to begrudge nurses moments of fun in their break time?

[–] 5 pts

Don't gaslight us. 20+ people doing a coordinated dance doesn't happen on "break time".

fun, while they are supposed to be at work?

You do realize your white-knighting will never get you laid?

Some of 'em are saints. Some I want to strangle. I just imagine it's the latter dancing.

Nurses are a step away from teachers in terms of proclaimed self-importance versus actual talent.

All their schooling means basically jack when they can only do what an order from a Dr allows them to do and even most ER's don't have shit for standing orders. What that means is they must get a Dr's direct expressed order to do anything. They're glorified assistants that do not have to critically think and have an entire hospitals worth of supplies and equipment at their disposal. And if one wants to start an IV on you tell them to fuck off because they're shit at it. Ask if a paramedic works there or a phlebotomist and get them to do it.

How do you go about refusing a nurse? I'm in Canada. Last time I went in there I decided I could never go back unless it's guaranteed I don't survive. I have a shoulder injury currently that I'm basically willing to die with.

In the USA you have a right to refuse any medical treatment or procedure you want. If you tell a nurse or paramedic or whomever that you don't want and IV and they do they procedure without your consent then you can follow up with legal action. It doesn't even matter if it's life saving, so long as you're awake and within your right mind you can refuse anything.

That's a sweet level of freedom.. In Canada they can take away any 'right' in case there was a 'danger' to the greater good. Whoever makes up the greater good has control over our freedom.

Nurses are almost all drug-addicted alky whores

And they cheat on their significant others constantly. It's almost like bragging rights for them.

Nurses usually work like 3 or 4 days a week and make about twice the national average income, yet they are some of the first to complain about their jobs.

On the other hand, they have to be around sick people all day. The dancing shit pisses me off, but I generally respect the healthcare profession.

Kind of like cops. They have to be around cocaine crazed niggers all day. The abuse of power and mindlessly following rabbis orders pisses me off but I generally respect them

Maybe if they actually killed more scum I would respect them.

No one forced them to be nurses.

Yes, and? I can still respect them for the job that they do.

I fucking hate myself for understanding your title's reference.
