The guy is an amazingly gifted director. On my 3rd watch of this fiery chaos of a movie, the attention to detail in it is mind blowing. Every award the whole team got was well deserved.

That fight scene between Max and Furiosa was raw badass.

What's your overall opinion of this installment in the Mad Max universe? What wold you have changed? Who do you think may have badly casted? I don't see any flaws in it, myself. A fucking helluva thrill ride!

There was ZERO story development. It was essentially one giant chase scene, from the opening scene to the closing scene.

There were many amazing things about it. Certainly entertaining. The visuals were astounding. The fight scenes thrilling. The costumes amazing.

But as far as story development, it had about as much as a single chase scene in Gone in 60 seconds.

Nailed it.

OP has had his attention span raped by the electric jew. Go watch the original

What they accomplished I think set new standards in the movie industry. There are many breakdowns of the movie at youtube that explain the whole premise of the movie as well as the crazy attention to detail. Even minor things in the background play into the story and the world. It was a massive car chase for sure, but damn! It's like watching a Rocky fight but on wheels. How they got some of those shots is insane.

Have a good suggestion for one?

What do you mean? Don't understand the question.

It's like watching a Rocky fight but on wheels

Yes. It is. But a single "fight" is NOT a story in the traditional sense. It's a part of a story.

Didn't way it was. Enjoyable none the less.

Fury Road was just another in a long line of the feminization of traditionally masculine roles. Tom Hardy is “Mad Max” and you can probably count his lines on one hand.

They are making a prequel for Fury Road that will supply Furiosa's origin story. The part will be played by Anya Taylor-Joy.

Not sure if there are any plans for another actual Mad Max movie or not, though.

That movie has a gargantuan standard to live up to after Fury Road.

I didn't watch Feminist Road, but I did watch Youtube videos discussing it. It's possible you had a very gifted director, who got letdown by SJW writers, producers etc.

I didn't like it. I mean there's no reason to fight while driving. You'd focus on escaping or eluding. Why do they have all those elaborate contraptions for fighting while driving. It's too much of a stretch for my practical sensibilities. Why does he wear a mask? Where are they getting the parts for all those vehicles? Seriously, when your water pump goes out you're gonna need anti-freeze, a gasket, silicone, a COMPATIBLE water pump. I'm supposed to believe they are able to source all that stuff? I don't think so. Why is the strongest guy the one with the mask? Does the mask give him special powers like not preventing the spread of a mostly peaceful virus? It's just kinda too naive for me.

It was the worst movie I've ever seen, probably even worse than "Sexy Beast".

I still don't know what that was about.

I think it was an absolute blast of a roller-coaster ride with some of the most stunning actions scenes that I've seen in a very long time. George Miller is a genius to put all that together from his mind. I'd like to see the things he couldn't do because the tech wasn't available or just hasn't been invented yet. If George were to have a speaking/interview engagement somewhere, I'd love to attend that gathering.

I'm not a film-maker and could never in a million years and a billion dollars produce something like that. Thanks to George Miller for giving us this fantastic spectacle of a movie.

why its one massive long car chase and nothing violent ever really happens, ppl die in explosion no gore, you'd think someone would of been impaled on those spike cars.

then it does gay shit like cut away from the bullet farmer fight and its full of wahmen

For a moment, I thought post said "Furry Road...". Perhaps someone should do a parody?

Lol, I can see that! Very fucked parody.

Hottest Halloween couples' costume I ever saw was two lesbians I used work with.

One was a 6"4' chick who was the Charlize Theron character, the other was a 5"4' smaller lesbian, she was a war boy.

Too bad they are both going to Hell.

[–] 1 pt

My problem with Charlize is that I have a hard time not seeing Charlize in every role she's done other than Monster. Too much of her personality is in the characters she plays. Aside from being hot as fuck, she's like Denzel Washington. Same person no matter what the role. Geat actors can disappear into character and cause you to forget about the actor playing the role.

About those costumes, was the war boy also shirtless and painted white?

[–] 1 pt

I'd disagree.

Christopher Walken is the ultimate non-actor.

He doesn't really act. He is just Christopher Walken.

But Christopher Walken is an appealing character, so he keeps getting cast.

Charlize is also a virtue-signalling turbo leftist with adopted niglets.
