Reminds me of this thread I read not long ago about how the JonBenet Ramsey story was entirely fabricated. Most of the beauty pageants she supposedly won don't seem to have existed at the time. Her mother claimed to have been a state winner of Miss America but the year she supposedly won someone else was listed as that state's winner in many news articles from the time. A heartwrenching story about a beautiful little blond haired blue eyed girl being murdered on Christmas was bound to sell lots of mockingbird magazines and newspapers and keep everyone tuned in to their news networks for weeks hoping to see the killer found, and of course they strung the story along with no real conclusion to keep people hooked and coming back for more.

I think it's more nefarious than ratings. I think that music, movies, the news, the radio...they're all arms of the same beast and it's all to paint a picture of reality that is nearly 100% false. I think that almost everyone you see in a news story is an actor, regardless of what the story is about. And it's all to keep us stressed out, worried, and isolated, from each other, sure...but I think ultimately it's to keep us isolated from God.
I don't think it's merely for control and consumerism, I think it's all designed to keep us spiritually dead, by keeping us separated from the main reason we're here...the spiritual experience we should be having.
My point is they use those kinds of stories to keep ratings up so they can push other subversive messages and distract you from real issues. But yeah, obviously there's a bigger agenda than just ratings. I'm not too religious and definitely don't believe in the jewish version of religion taught in every abrahamic religion but they definitely do a lot to keep us from understanding nature and real science (like biological/genetic differences).

You are the first person in the wild I've come across that is aware of this. These fabricated stories are VERY common. The murderer next door is another example of this. It never happened. It took me five minutes watching to see through it. It's like they are testing how stupid and brainwashed the normies are.
