Plus satellites are suppedly moving super fast, how does a dish lock on for more than a split second.
Yeah you think when they are scanning for a signal, they would like, move around?
We used to have a "satellite" based cell phone repeater. It came with a little reciever that said it must be in a window facing the sky. We set it up and it worked. Little did we know, the device fell behind our couch and we didn't notice for months (it was covered in dust). No issues with the cell signal at all. It was just pinging from a tower.
