Well any time a possible competitive detractor emerges they quickly buy them up as does Joogle, Gatesoft, Oracle, Apple, etc.....
The common answer I hear is that it's their only way of communicating with family and friends. Which is not true. There are phones. There is email. There are other social media sites that aren't totally evil.
What someone should do is say hey, let's move to this alternative social media site. It's better and doesn't collect and sell our information like fakebook does.
There is no need I can conceive for using Facebook other than to troll other Facebook users to not use Facebook. While I could be wrong (very possible), you are supporting the destruction of Western Civilization by using it.
I use it to sell stuff on the marketplace and for watching gaming streamers.
I don't use it as a news aggregator or for personal communications.
I'm sure it's harvesting data from me, my comings and goings etc, but I'm quite happy with it in the capacity in which I use it - it's a well developed free service and the trade-off is fair in my use case.
Because there are a lot of people there that can still be red pilled.
So do not lead by example? If you don't use the FB platform you force the dbags that do FB to use something else if they want to find you. If they don't want to find you? then they weren't worth the scratch.
