There's tons. You've probably had several in your lifetime. Think back to any time you got the sniffles - coulda been corona.

Our pets have it worse. Corona is way more problematic for dogs and cats. That's why we've been vaccinating them against it for decades. This isn't new. I worked at the vet for about 10 years and it was already standard when I started.

Yep you are correct. Literally every common virus is a coronavirus.

No no. There are tons of common viruses that aren't coronavirus. Rhinovirus is the most common. Enterovirus and respiratory syncytial virus are two more. There's many, and they're all as different as ducks are to chickens are to crows. But at the end of the day, they're all birds that fly, so they're all lumped together.

Rhinovirus etc. are very often lumped in with corona tbh, at least that's what I learned. For the record though I learned nursing and paramedics not a doctorate or specialist, but I found where I worked all of these were lumped together under the cover of the "humancoronavirus". I understand what you are saying, and you are right, but generally speaking at least in my experience these viruses are all treated the same way.
