When I was in high school and learned about WW2 the fact that I was told he was out to kill the jews but then rounded them all up to move them to "death camps" never made sense to me. Why would you build an infrastructure to house and keep something you want gone. Why not just put a cheap bullet in the head of each one you find and move on? From a military stand point the amount of money wasted to move and home the jews was insane compared to what we were told the end goal was supposed to be.
We all were traumatized by war imagery too soon and always told one ethnic group was the victim, when all throughout history you can find these types of events. In fact, many of the crimes against our own were portrayed as crimes against the criminals.
