Episode 10 of the original series brings up Tesla’s theories about time travel and there’s the story of Chronovision, the tv that some monk rigged up to be able to see into the past and/or future. Project looking glass is supposed to be some black budget tech that trumps grandfather got from Tesla’s papers after he died and has been developed. Think the movie Tomorrowland. Supposedly the looking glass technology started only showing one ending that could not be changed no matter what parameters were entered. The ending being “the great awakening’.
