PuttItOut is a cunt. He knew for a long time he was going to kill the site but did not tell us until 4 days before because he realized if he didn't, everyone would consider what happened and that he sold out would be at the top. He said nothing for months, knowing there were "money problems".
Putt must have invested considerable time and work into maintaining voat over the years, getting little thanks and a lot of unjustified spite in return. He didn't owe us even as much as he gave us, let alone more.
I say that as someone who donated to support voat when donating was a thing. I got way, way more from voat than what I paid.
