when you think about it, the only way to be a good goy in current dya system is to specifically NOT pay off debt, and keep it running on, even if you can pay it off. As shitty as it sounds, there is no inherent benefit anymore to paying off debt, especially given the govt can come back and just wash it all away if you dont pay it
