Is it any wonder that we are going to reap what is sown because of humanity's universal disregard for human life? Life is cheap , the sanctity for human life is gone .. I expect bad bad things to happen to ' modern ' uncivilization.. the unborn being murdered with the help of your tax dollars . Shameful .How could this happen? Why?

If God can see the future, why would He create all these people that are just gonna wind up in Hell anyway? He KNEW this would happen, before He even created them.

Idk, I am not really a devout believer myself I just am remembering the most intriguing details to me about the bible. I remember that the Simpsons had an episode related to revelations in the bible as well.

I think the bible is an interesting historical document peppered with allegorical stories, they are not meant to be taken literally (walking on water, etc). One of my favorite parts is that 'Lucifer' means 'bringer of light', lol. Several of my family no longer speak to me, after I made them aware of this (Deep South Baptists can be as scary as fundamentalist Muslims).

Yeah, I have heard of stories of scary southern hillbillies.

Although what you said about Lucifer meaning bringer of light is interesting, but iirc the name Lucifer isn't used anywhere in the bible.

I looked it up and it appears Lucifer was it's name before it became a fallen angel.

Also when I hear some say that "walking on water is just supposed to be a phrase" I actually think it makes sense considering that Jesus/God is a deity. Although I guess it could be a metaphor to how easily and smoothly he moved through raging waters. I don't really remember the walking on water part of the bible very well though tbh.
