Three generations walked through Walmart yesterday, maskless. We walked through a mass of sheep, turning their masked faces to us in shock and disgust. No one approached us about our maskless faces. I hate going to Walmart now. The store has declined, to the look and feel of department stores in the 60's and 70's, faltering and teetering on bankruptcy, they had scant product and the overall look of the place was just deteriorated. I only wanted to buy pillows. Regular bed pillows. I had been to Kohl's and they had half a wall of pillows, but I didn't want to spend $20 a pillow. So on to Walmart. No fucking pillows. The entire aisle of pillows completely empty. I just stood there with another group of shoppers and remarked out loud, "How bizarre." Are we making a run on pillows in 2021? Of course, my first thought, they have delivery issues, but more likely the pillows are "Made in China" and maybe the source has become harder to arrive on our AMERICAN soil. GOOD.

New Year's Eve was a busy day for Walmart, lots of people. Lots of masks, we three, stood out. I was amazed by the staggering number of people who follow. And I was reminded as they are following the mask rule, they may, in seeing my little group, question why we were maskless? Why are we not being banned from the store? Why was the sky not falling on all of us by now?

Please God wake up America.

we are at the point of take no prisoners. God give us strength to do the things we must. Forgive us should the necessary hurt the innocent.

I'd like to think the pillows are being used as gun silencers against our enemies.

Positive thinking. Interestingly, this post really, really wanted a down vote. I trust no one, not a thing.

Our last trip to Walmart a few days ago will be our LAST trip. They had empty shelves everywhere employees were scrambling everywhere to restock the shelves but couldn't keep up with demand. I'd say at least 50% of the people in the store were maskless but in Florida the mask thing never really caught on like it did everywhere else. After realizing we couldn't find paper towels or water my wife said fuck this place and we got the hell out of there.

Sad. Hope the year goes better for you and yours.

You should shop at Kohl's and buy their stock.

Thanks for advice. Here's to a great New Year.

Kohl's is cucked and tried forcing masks for awhile. That's when I closed my card for 20+ years - never going back. They chose shekels over my rights. Even if it was only temporarily it was enough for me to never give them another cent.

Wow. It is almost like businesses are designed to make as much money as possible.

Pretty much masks are mandated by all jurisdictions anyways.

Here in WI the governor had 60 days of emergency power. He tried to push another emergency order and our Supreme Court told him to pound sand. Since then it has been purely optional here - I have yet to wear one but do have a short list of companies that will never get a shekel from me again. That is the only way to make sure the next wave of bullshit isn't worse than this one.
