I’ve conceived of this vertical causality you’re talking about as the “spiritual axis”, and it is indeed a very compelling modality for interfacing with the Essence. It’s by no means the *only* one - I suspect it’s truly limitless beyond our wildest imaginings - but it’s particularly useful as an *intersection* between our “Eternal Selves” (vertical) and the “Conditions of Existence” within which we find ourselves (horizontal). Of course, everything that happens here - our whole lives and the destiny of the entire universe - is *bound* by and *subject* to Horizontal Causality ... but that just *isn’t what’s important about any of it*. It’s a construct, and a temporary one.
