You cave if you want, but I've quit giving my money to assholes that don't want my business, Costco included. I made a point to tell Sprout's that they just lost $300/wk from us, or the equivalent of one employee's salary. The next time they have to let someone go, think about that.
They basically just replied, with "We don't care."
That's where we're at. Companies actually saying no the dollar? Doubtful, this whole thing has been subsidized with loans and welfare payments. When those run out, and the free market returns, we'll see how far that gets them.

Costco laughs at a handful of people never coming back, they know they probably will in time anyway. I gotta think about what's best for me. They can operate at a loss because bankers and feds use our money/labor to bail them out while mom and pop mainstreet must struggle for scraps.

I don't have to "effect their bottom line". If they can do well forcing people to strap flappy dildos on their heads to shop there, more power to them. I just know I'm not going to do that, and there are plenty of businesses out there willing to take my hard earned cash without forcing dumb shit on my face. So, to me, it's problem solved. Simple as that.

P,S, I did cancel Prime, but not for small business reasons. It's because they are now banning books for the first time ever.
