I just (last week) bought a (seldom) blue container thing of salt. Iodized. BUT they substituted NON iodized (same brand). Is it being phased out? NEVER had a problem before (hardly ever buy one of those blue salt containers...not a can, because cardboard). Are we being weened or something?

What do you mean, "they substituted"? At the grocery store by me, there is both iodized and non-iodized and I just have to make sure to grab the right one.

You're in the states right? Here in France it has become somewhat difficult to find iodized salt. Only somewhat though, its available but you have to pay close attention to pick the right one. They want you brominated or fluoridated. You're easier to control that way.
