There’s a pack of them across the street from me along the riverbank, and they howl every evening and every morning. I chased one with the mini14 four days ago. Couldn’t get a bead on him at 100 yards with the peep sights in the fog, but he zigzagged a few times. I need to get the scope mounted and dialed in for the kill. Yes, I know, “mini14”....whatever. I have other choices, but this one is my favorite. I’ll post kill picks when I get him/them.

Sounds very similar to the deer in our yard. Big bitch (or "knot nose" in our case; it was obviously broken badly at some point) was kicked out of the herd for some reason and roams around with her two fawns, away from the other herds. I'd love to shoot all three, but I'm within city limits.
