There’s a pack of them across the street from me along the riverbank, and they howl every evening and every morning. I chased one with the mini14 four days ago. Couldn’t get a bead on him at 100 yards with the peep sights in the fog, but he zigzagged a few times. I need to get the scope mounted and dialed in for the kill. Yes, I know, “mini14”....whatever. I have other choices, but this one is my favorite. I’ll post kill picks when I get him/them.

Mini14 are great guns. Try putting rabbit ears in a bush on a fishing line. Wiggle the line to shake the ears.

Little bastards will come running.

Meh, I dislike the M1 and loathe the M14. Chances are I'd hate its scaled-down brother even more. Awesome advice, though.

I have a couple packs near me and they howl all night as well. I like them though. They keep the rodent population in check so my garden thanks them.

I like hearing them as well. They make some crazy ass sounds. Never seen them.

There are definitely worse problems to have.

There's these deer that come to my back yard, and this one big bitch doe likes to kick the others in the head, and I'm sure she stomped another doe's fawn to death 2 summers ago. That bitch is going to fucking pay.

Sounds very similar to the deer in our yard. Big bitch (or "knot nose" in our case; it was obviously broken badly at some point) was kicked out of the herd for some reason and roams around with her two fawns, away from the other herds. I'd love to shoot all three, but I'm within city limits.

Imagine being this level of loser, oh wait, here you are.

I'm curious. I'm not trolling here, it's an honest question. Do you generally find enjoyment directing negative thoughts towards others? Or was there something about killing coyotes that just genuinely bothers you?

Thank you, and happy new year.

He used "this", which directs his derogatory comment at his illiterate self.
And an apparent nicotine addict. Stressed angry a-holes except for 15 minutes after they have a smoke.

Jesus you're fucking stupid. What do you think? This guy is going to kill animals because their natural existence "bothers" him. What an absolute lowlife loser cucked faggot. He deserves to be killed.

And then we have you, who asks the most absurd question because you're such a fucking weak faggot yourself. Poal is a weak place.

edit: noticed the context is your comment, not OP. My response is the same, you want to kill a deer because it fights with other deer. Just wipe yourself from the planet.

Are you referring to yourself? Calling random people on the internet names is pretty much the definition of loser.
Do you not have anything better to do?

What's wrong with a mini14? I love mine

It's a scaled-down M14, which itself is either awesome or awful depending on who you ask. That aside, the accuracy was lost in translation and the rifles were both more expensive and less accurate than competing .223 rifles. During the last decade or so, the accuracy problems have been fixed with better barrels, yet their MSRP has risen.

I like mine too. There’s haters out there though.

Probably because they dealt with the older "inferior" versions.

Like another said, get a call.

Depending on state, you can also get furbearers license and set out traps.

Also, depending on state if they come within certain distance of your home, you can set traps without license/permit.

223 is perfect for coyotes. ARs are whats standard for hunting them.

If you're going to shoot them, don't waste them. It's not difficult to tan hides, and those pelts are worth money, if you don't use them yourself. So are the intact skulls once cleaned up, so don't go for a head shot. A .223 will drop a coyote in it's tracks if placed anywhere in the heart/lung area.

If you don't need or want the materials, or they aren't being a threat to you or your livestock, best to leave them alone, they are better to have around than the rodents they eat, and just their being in the area keeps rats and other vermin away. Rats can smell 'em and go the other way.

I live in an area where two packs territories overlap, it can be fun to listen to them when they cross paths, yipping and howling in their own little posturing session with each other. :) And no, I am nowhere near to being one of those Di$ney brainwashed tree-hugging soyboys, just someone who lives with nature, not against it. I hunt, fish, etc. just fine, but I don't believe in killing an animal just for the sake of killing, you might need that resource someday. (And the way things are going, that day might be soon)

Get 'en, OP. Bait them out with a couple chickens and stake out for the night.

Get a recording of coyotes howling like crazy. Blast it over a loudspeaker, very loud. Enjoy having no more coyotes.

if you need them closer feed them on a schedule for a few weeks. then feed them half as much. they will end up getting used to and needing your food they will practically walk up to you. just like communism.
