There must be some sort of psychopathic logic to it. It's not because they're not creative enough, they certainly are clever, devious mother fuckers. So why use the exact same thing against your opponent? Perhaps it works well when you're almost exposed and it acts as a buffer or distraction. Makes it easy to say that's crazy talk, idk. But when you get caught doing the EXACT same thing you accuse others, it's becomes pretty damn obvious lol. It works against them and not for them because it clearly exposes them of doing just that. Can't gaslight your way out of it.

Sal Alinsky's Rules for Radicals

The Rules

  • "Power is not only what you have but what the enemy thinks you have."

  • "Never go outside the expertise of your people."

  • "Whenever possible go outside the expertise of the enemy."

  • "Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules."

  • "Ridicule is man's most potent weapon. There is no defense. It is almost impossible to counterattack ridicule. Also it infuriates the opposition, who then react to your advantage."

  • "A good tactic is one your people enjoy."

  • "A tactic that drags on too long becomes a drag ."

  • "Keep the pressure on."

  • "The threat is usually more terrifying than the thing itself. "

  • "The major premise for tactics is the development of operations that will maintain a constant pressure upon the opposition."

  • "If you push a negative hard and deep enough it will break through into its counterside; this is based on the principle that every positive has its negative."

  • "The price of a successful attack is a constructive alternative."

  • "Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it. "

Its not about being clever. Its about giving the useful idiots something to yell about. If they can get a Democrat to think the republicans did something there is absolutely no way you will convince them otherwise. Its a simple mind control technique.

It's called projection, and it's one of the defining traits of pathological narcissism. Projection is a result of those who exist off the deep end of the narcissistic spectrum dumping their self-hatred onto those they consider threats to their fragile egos. They can't and don't comprehend the consequences of their actions, shifting the blame onto a scapegoat. They're too weak mentally and value an extremely distorted self-image above all else. So they subconsciously make anyone who sees through them a proxy for their self-hatred. The behavior is pure insanity and thereby regarded as the confession of the crazy. When these asshole lunatics get away with it, it's because of naive unobservant people or because very few people have the energy to keep dealing with the constant crazy-making.

I'm sure you've also noticed the very same people exhibit other peculiar behaviors. They proclaim to exhibit the values they covet such as empathy, yet unable to demonstrate possessing them (look at these SJW faggots pretend to against racism yet sort and define everyone by color). Even worse yet, their brain is hardwired with an inverted social reward (hurting others brings them glee, others being happy makes them envious and wrathful, and deceiving others excites them). These miserable fucks can't carve out a meaningful life, drifting from one quick and dirty dopamine hit to the next. Since lying is breathing to such dopes, it's impossible for them to discern fact from fiction, especially by having a selective memory at their convenience. They're always maintaining a golden sheep and black sheep dynamic in their life. It isn't even limited to people. Pets and objects are also regarded the same way to triangulate. Ironically, they're much closer to being actual NPCs. A meta smackdown of their sophistry predictably causes a grievous narcissistic injury and an extinction burst of disproportionate rage.
