More like Reagan killed it when he instituted no fault divorce as Governor of California. He considered it his biggest regret. But this shit really started with (((feminism))) and the lack of men on the U.S. mainland during WWII that led women to enter the workforce. Once women started working, they could rely on men far less and feminism kept pushing women to be more self reliant decade after decade.
