I'll be y'alls huckleberry. too. I definitely think a lot of libertarian ideas, especially AnCap stuff, is fucking dumb.
What are these forks in the road? What necessitates the homogeneity? Sure, a dude who wants to kill us because he thinks God tells him to will never belong. How far does it go? Let's say I'm Episcopalian. I have any number of moral differences with, say, Baptists. Do I try to kick them out of my country? How does this work and why?
Christian sects usually do not have a problem in society because we all worship the exact same God with the same base core beliefs.
The fork in the road is ideology related to a functioning government and society. Eventually Libertarian-ism hits a wall between shit people on the liberal side, debt, & spending.
Eventually you become a giant herd of sheep voting on what's for dinner combined with voting to give yourself all kinds of free shit. Meanwhile the wolves are still there doing what they're doing to do no matter how you vote.
I know people do not like hearing this part. But as someone who lives in the Chicago-land area. Black urban culture is killing them and pulling the rest of us down with them. Because Democrats have told those fools that the rest of us owe them. So they expect welfare as "reparations."
Well the Biden administration is probably going to push us over the debt & spending cliff. Our currency is going to take a hit no matter what as will the Pound and probably the Euro. Now combine that with the global food shortage that's coming. Especially if farmers here in the US and Canada do not step up and plant a shitload of corn, wheat, and soy beans. They at least have a chance to make some serious money.
