Lost my reading glasses before work. Went to a thrift store and rummaged through the basket of shitty glasses. Went across the street to safeway pharmacy. Not a single pair of glasses anywhere. Ask the staff, "where are the glasses?". Discontinued because of the coof. For fuck sake. Walk to the dollar store, put on mask. Find dollar reading glasses from the rack and try on several pairs. Mask is causing each pair I try on to fog up. Potentially covid infected glasses now as I put them back as I try on, because of the mask...glasses don't fog when not wearing a mask.
I want to smack a lot of people.
The hypocracies are rampant. Goes to show the foundation of all this lockdown covid hysteria is pure bullshit. Everyone is forced to mask up (even though they don't do anything against the virus) but nobody cares about all the touching of items in public stores. No Christmas with family but boxing day shopping in a packed department store is a-ok! Thousands of foreigners flying into our airports every day with no screening and voluntary isolations.
Lock you up if you spend time with your family, but let you out of jail years early if you're already in jail.
