Though, looking at the comments there, the horse-faced single mother ruling New Zealand paid kiwis $600/week during her lockdown but 'Murican pols haven't even paid out $10/week during theirs?
I suppose NZ can afford such largesse, as they have the luxury of being able to hit up 'Murica for that money, but if the Murican money printer is gonna go brrr for the whole world, shouldn't 'Muricans be getting at least as many shekels from it as foreigners?
Sounds like NZ is moving toward a socialist society by providing universal income to its citizens. No thanks! Why are you supporting and promoting this by whining about how Americans aren't getting the same? We don't want the government paying its citizens. They work for us and don't deserve a damned dime if we the people aren't making money. Americans who aren't lazy and senile want to go back to work! Stop the unconstitutional lock downs NOW!!!

We pay them peanuts vs what they get from market manipulation, so they unsurprisingly work for those who manipulate the markets. Since Harry S. Truman, has there been an American politician who did not get richer than his salary while in national/state office?
Of course I agree that the lockdowns need to be ended. What grates me is that Kiwis were paid at least $600/week to go along with the lockdowns, while Americans were paid next to nothing and still went along with the lockdowns. DC didn't even pay us for compliance and 'Muricans just went along with their schemes for free.
Kiwis had it a lot worse than we did. I remember reading how armed guards were stationed outside an apartment building and not letting anyone outside because one person in the building had test positive. People here went along because they didn't want to lose their jobs or business license. The rest who went along with it were happy to live in fear. I've never worn a mask except for doctor appts. and have never been turned away at a business. People everywhere need to grow a spine and stop living in fear, even if they're paid to be fearful.
This is why I laugh when 3rd world Americans claim their country is so good. To who? Why keep eating the propaganda
They pay kiwis NZD, not USD. And the kiwis can print their own NZD. Why would you think Americans are paying kiwis $600 a week?
Because America pays every foreign country. America is the world's currency and it is the world's banker.
