Kiwis had it a lot worse than we did. I remember reading how armed guards were stationed outside an apartment building and not letting anyone outside because one person in the building had test positive. People here went along because they didn't want to lose their jobs or business license. The rest who went along with it were happy to live in fear. I've never worn a mask except for doctor appts. and have never been turned away at a business. People everywhere need to grow a spine and stop living in fear, even if they're paid to be fearful.

Which baffles me as the lockdown cost people their jobs and closed their businesses anyhow.
Armed guards in the same nation that produced the Christchurch Crusader? Brenton Tarrant did the right thing, but it is too bad that he's in prison as the world needs him now more than ever. Of course the cops arrest a guy who was doing their job for them, if they'd been worth their salt they'd have just let him keep on driving, maybe flashed the "OK sign" to him as he passed 'em.
