There's a humorous anime called Memories. It's 3 or 4 short stories. One is about a mobile cannon city or some shit. Half their population makes shells, the other half shoots them all day. no one is really sure who their enemy is or where they are or if they even exist. Worth a watch if you're bored sometime.
