I get it. I'm a newfag here. Brigade rules in effect.

I'm bitching and moaning about it.

Sue me.

Techno music is gay.

So, like, maybe I'm gay in an alternate timeline, and it's creeping over into this one.

TBH, it's one of the few genres of music I enjoy, that I can listen to, while reading. Something about getting into "a groove" and my brain not needing to devote CPU cycles to analyzing/comprehending lyrical-heavy content.

I was a club kid growing up.

If you kill jews while ironically jamming techno, it is not gay. Many other nohomo techno situations abound, but gay techno situations unfortunately make up 98% of the techno listening bell curve. So.....saying techno could make you gay is a mathematical understatement Kill jews to avoid homosexuality creeping in via techno.

Groove? Techno?

What, exactly, is your definition of groove?

Because the standard definition of groove is pauses and shufflings of a rhythm that techno, as a genre, almost completely eschews.

"A groove" is a state where I can lose myself in the moment without needing to think about much else than what I'm currently focused on.

EDIT: There is something about lyric-heavy content that takes me out of the moment, because part of my brain needs to access language understanding.

So was Michael Alig.

Dammit son, I clicked here just to poast the same thing.

Who wants to poast techno music and isn't flaming ghey?

All music is great and all music is terrible. You probably hate what I enjoy listening to and vice versa. That being stated, the man Rick has a point that new people being unable to start new subs is certainly limiting the creativity and contributions on Poal.

No.

Most genres have a fraction of a percent of content that is genuinely good.

Some losers stick to a genre their entire lives and build their identity around it, even though 99% of it is crap.

Most people listen to music for nostalgia reasons and are stuck listening to the same industry approved crap their entire lives and their taste is determined by what they loved when they were a teenager.

i think you mean

"i just want to post techno music" - gay

[–] 2 pts

You can post it in one of the existing music subs for now can't you?

[–] 2 pts

I could, but the stuff I want to post is kinda esoteric, and I don't want to go shitting up established subs.

How esoteric? That all of us are one in very deep levels? That some of us who actually have a soul are having a temporary human experience? That we need to let go?

[–] 1 pt

Dude. Fuck your philosophizing. Seriously.

I don't want to go crapping up the music sub with computer-generated club material, that makes me want to shake my booty.

Oh. Huh. Thanks. I guess I can try posting there.

Cheers !

DnB is the future..

[–] 1 pt

You'll be there soon RRR. isn't there a sub already I think?

[–] 0 pt

“Something something Gay”, “I just want to post techno music” LOL how about you just listen to your faggy computer sequences on your own.

[–] 2 pts

How about you give me ole taint a proper tongue-banging, and fuck off ?

[–] 0 pt

Now I hate to be the one to Point this out.But much like your taste in 140 bpm computer sequences that is also very gay.

[–] 1 pt

I'm more into the 128-130bpm Driving / Peak Time shit, but whatever.

[–] 0 pt

I got news for you...POAL IS JEWS. Get used to their jewish tyranny.

[–] 0 pt

imaginary internet points don't matter

You must be at least level 10 to create new subs

[–] 0 pt

So, tell us in the comments...what's good?

[–] 0 pt

I'm not sure I understand your question. Are you asking me what my recommendations are for Driving / Peak Time techno, or music in general ?

[–] 0 pt

I thought we were talkin bout techno

[–] 1 pt

TBH, I mostly head to the Top 100 Genre list on Beatport and explore from there.

Space 92, Juheun, UMEK, and Neireich have been putting out some good stuff lately.

Can't go wrong with Frankyeffe, Gene Karz, or Enrico Sanguilano. Sutter Cane is hit and miss sometimes.
