It proves that most people live in fucking la-la land. In a weird sort of way, the pandemic made people "celebrate" their supposed "comradery" with one another. churches would do this in the winter time so that old people could fall asleep not feeling alone. but i would suggest that they are coopting what needs to exist to fight against them. it should be all of us out at 7pm. tooting horns and banging drums. we can call it an anti-lockdown protest and watch the news crack down on racists clammering. we have so much power because the left is waiting for us to move so they can point as the movement and describe it to others as concerning. orchestrate your opposition and allow them to destroy themselves.
