Conservatives haven't had power since the 1980s and even then the neo-con scam was well under way. Reagan was the last conservative and even he was f'd with a democrat background and leanings.
How can conservatives conserve without political power? I guess i'm not supposed to notice.

You're probably talking about the real right (a fixed position without loosey goosey values that change with the wind), which hasn't had power since the end of WW2, since it was defeated in WW2.

Yeah, it all comes down to having a proper fixed set of values, which conservatives haven't had in a very long time, and modern liberals have never had.
I guess it's not so cut and dry because of course you have to find ways to adapt to changes, especially in tech, or else you'd be stuck in the stone ages forever. But, the big liberal lie is that those changes have to come at the expense of everything else that defines our identity and culture, or that those changes always have to come no matter what the cost.
