Yeah, it all comes down to having a proper fixed set of values, which conservatives haven't had in a very long time, and modern liberals have never had.

I guess it's not so cut and dry because of course you have to find ways to adapt to changes, especially in tech, or else you'd be stuck in the stone ages forever. But, the big liberal lie is that those changes have to come at the expense of everything else that defines our identity and culture, or that those changes always have to come no matter what the cost.

There is good reason for that and why leftist/socialist were behind the urban pushes. Anywhere hard right values existed, they were quickly overrun with diversity pushes. In turn with demands of equality and socialism. In turn fueling white flight and so on and then repeat. Which quickly changes voting demographics.

The voice of conservatives are largely squelched and pushed to rural areas.

This is the true power of "diversity is (((our))) strength."

I think it's because cities aren't very natural for human beings. There are some big upsides to living in the city, but also tons of downsides. It has this weird effect on people. They lose touch with nature (the environment and their own human nature), get bogged down in the grind of being stuck in traffic and working at some boring place all day, surround by generic looking black/grey boxes with windows (modern excuse for "architecture"), surrounded by crime and poverty, etc.

It must warp the mind. People fill the void with all kinds of weird, self-destructive, degenerate behaviour.
