When I press on a link then come back I am rarely where I was at browsing. Is this fixable?

I know it is about others submitting posts but it is often really unusually high up where I was before like minutes ago and need scroll down alot.

Disable infinite scroll.

Wow. I hate infinite scroll so much I forgot that was even an option. OP's post was a bit confusing at first.
