Though there may well be people who are J-woke in your area and they are just laying low. In the country you have to find things to occupy your time. Try exploring, go parks, learn bush craft and survive off the land.
Going on hikes to explore and camp is probably one of the best things you can do. Its a skill to hoan that you might need one day.
