Japan... I lived there for a while. I’ve never seen such a pathetic collection of soyboys in my life.

So it really is that bad?

I think you’d need to destroy the poisonous work culture in the big cities, where people are expected to work 16-18 hour days in some cases.

The goal of Corporate America right there. Now, I've heard that part of the allure of being the "sensitive salaryman" is that death by overwork is considered just about the last remaining way for a Japanese to have a noble death. This "karoshi" culture seems to have even crossed over into their entertainment, it must've done so in a reasonably big way for someone like me to have heard of it.

But if Japan were at war, that would give your average Japanese a real shot at a traditionally noble death, and might that break up the poisonous work culture?

But honestly, I truly believe that the only solution for feminism is banning birth control in all its forms.

I think that is the way. The pre-Vatican II Catholics were right. On a side note, I've heard that there's a peculiar phenomenon where women who are on the pill go off of the pill to have kids and then find that they're no longer attracted to their mates. Possibly due to the pill's hormones making women seek out men who appeal to pregnant women, who are the opposite of men who appeal to non-pregnant women?
