You always buy the shot before getting it. Go to the CVS counter, buy it, get the receipt, then just leave.
Is this true? Can you seriously just buy the fucking vaccine? I mean I know a county not horribly far from me is flat-out giving drive-though vaccinations, so surely any shmuck can get it, but seriously?
By ‘buy it’ I mean they take your insurance and have you fill out a questionnaire. You get a receipt at that point (at least I do for flu shots).
Unless the pharmacy does something after, you have ‘proof’ of the shot.
I'd be scared of them trying to stick me themselves, at least where I live, but that's very useful advice. Even with normal vaccines, I couldn't trust these doctors not to give me a dirty needle. Thanks.
