Collectivism gets a bad rep because it's almost exclusively associated with modern liberal "socialist" bullshit, but, I think the reason for that is because most of the so-called collectivists you hear talking about shit like socialism, are actually just worthless parasites. These people use moralistic language and pretend support for the community and collective to justify taking resources from the producers of society and giving it to them for their own individualistic and materialistic pursuits. I'll use an anecdote to make what I'm talking about clearer, but I'm sure you all know of people like this. So I know this faggot, who was alright in school, but later on became a total worthless bum. Literally unemployed for years and years, no gf, no real life, sits around playing video games and shit all day every day. But, this fag considers himself a "socialist". He claims he's pro-community and pro-whatever moral-sounding bullshit is in with the modern left. He also thinks of himself as an intellectual (he's a midwit). But what do his actions say? He doesn't pull his own weight, he doesn't contribute anything to his community, he doesn't believe in social standards, traditions, religion, he doesn't believe in the societal expectation to have kids and raise a family (which is pretty fucking essential to maintaining a collective....), and he's insanely materialistic, hedonistic, and ultimately, individualistic. So yeah, these people are, at their core, the most selfish and individualistic people you'll ever meet in your lives. All that bullshit talk about socialism and community is purely a façade used to validate their worthless existence and try to convince or guilt other people into giving resources to them to enable their parasitic lifestyle choices. Oh someone else will work and produce, someone else will pay taxes, someone else will uphold moral and cultural standards, someone else will have children....I just want to do whatever I want, live whatever degenerate lifestyle I feel like....but I want everyone else to pay for it! This is an extremely bastardized form of collectivism. True collectivism involved actually belonging to and being beholden to a real collective, usually one that is fairly racially homogenous, and certainly culturally homogenous. There are expectations for dress, deportment, and general behaviour, and everyone is expected to pull their weight and contribute to society. As Hitler explained it, "our socialism isn't about the rich helping the poor, it's about Germans helping Germans. Everyone helps everyone". So, it's fine if you still fundamentally disagree with collectivism, but, don't mistake the degenerate modern leftist "socialists" as collectivists. They're not. They're individualist, hedonist, materialistic parasites that use collectivist sounding terminology and moral axioms (that they make up mostly on the spot) to justify leeching off of the rest of us.
