An empty sidecar can tip you going around a turn. Even more if someones in it and doesnt lean towards the outside. Id call that a big deal.

As long as the person sitting in the sidecar is consistent about leaning toward the center the pilot can account for it. Its perhaps not the "correct" behavior from the passenger but its not surprising and seems to be the pretty common natural reaction from my experience. Not everyone is a trained monkey. ;)
