I'm not a believer, no. The closest thing to religion that I would give merit to is Naturalism. That said, I grew up surrounded by Christianity and that has certainly left its mark. While I've come to explicitly reject some of its teachings, others remain and I continue to value them.

This reminds me of something I've said in another place, at another time:

I'm not a religious man. But it is difficult to look at what is happening to Britain, and "the West" that it spawned, and call it anything short of Divine Punishment. Whether by God Almighty, Mother Nature, Karma, Evolution or anything else.

Whatever name you give it, it is what it is:

"The Greatest Generation" defiled themselves and their bloodlines. By murdering millions of their brothers and sisters, for vainglory and profit, to benefit a certain desert tribe that whispered sweet nothings in their ears. And now some force of nature clearly wants them and theirs dead. Dead and gone. Wiped out, in the most humiliating ways possible.

They could save themselves. Even now. By repenting. By admitting they were wrong. By vindicating the kin that they slaughtered, and following their example.

But their vanity will not let them. And that will be their doom.

No meaningful new resistance can be mounted without redemption of the previous one.
