I think you can? I know people teach survival skills, also plenty of books out there. You can always go practice in the wilderness and come back if you're failing and go try again another time. I have a couple books on wilderness survival.

I vaguely remember a book on wilderness survival that was written by the same author that made an urban survival book. It had all sorts of illustrations too, mainly of a well-built white man doing all of the stuff. You wouldn't happen to know of anything like that would you?
