I can't see the full conversation context, so maybe your tone was warranted based on previous posts, but just looking at this snippet your argument style is the annoying one, filled with personal attacks and apparently baseless "you are a (((Jew)))" accusations. This is a terrible example of pilpul or the Jew crying out in pain.

He made an incorrectly broad statement. "business can be denied for any reason"

You challenged him on it, correctly pointing out that it is illegal to deny business based on the race of the customer. But then seemed to draw a conclusion/logical fallacy that it also would stop businesses from declining service for wearing a mask.

He challenged your statement saying that denying based on race is explicitly illegal, but wearing or not wearing a mask is not a protected privilege, seemingly conceding his first point.

Which I never stated, claimed, or implied. There's an example of pilpul. Claiming the person you're arguing against said something they did not. This is not up for discussion.

I think a reasonable argument would be to clarify that the first statement should read they can refuse a sale for any lawful reason.

Maybe the counter argument would be that some businesses and institutions effectively deny service to whites like HBCUs, but then the argument follows that why would you want to be in all black areas anyway?

Either way some others are right. Once you start calling people kikes and other names, you're not really engaging in a productive conversation. But yeah what you've shown is goalpost shifting. Just not intentional in my opinion.

Im new and from voat, and I kind of saw what you meant but I also know that in an online exchange people aren’t exactly making 20 line edits on their posts. He did kind of move the goal posts but I also think he may have misspoke.

Either way, you need to calm down because you seem like you’re frothing at the mouth. He may be a Glowniggerkike or he may not, it’s hard to tell from that one small exchange.
