When you encounter this IRL the easy shut down is "thank you for letting me know your opinion. Can you prove what you're saying with math? Ok then it's not an objective truth, thank you for your opinion." Working in the most liked profession this keeps me sane. That and understanding people who treat a conversation as a time to prove something are to be avoided.
