I finally cut them all off the first time they breathed to my then 3-year-old daughter that her adopted cousin (a 5 year old boy) was now a girl and about how they could play with dolls together.

MIL immediately knew she had fucked up but there will be no coming back from that.

That's absolutely atrocious behavior. I'm in the same boat as there are my blood who will be given judgement on DOTR.

You made the right choice, for your sanity and wellbeing of the children.
