If I’m labeled “racist” and my employer finds out, they’d think they’re doing society a favor by shit-canning me. That’s the way the labels are intended to work.
Doesn’t exactly apply to my personal situation, but it’s the reality for millions of working-class Whites.

Never reveal your power-level in the first place if you've got too much to lose.

It has power to the extent that it allows one to control the behavior of others. This dynamic is an objective reality, independent of one’s own desire to participate in it. You’re clearly referring to other conceptual domains which touch on the idea of “power” - but the objective political domain clearly has some sort of control over your life if you’re obliged to self-censor in order to hold on to your property.
